We started August 1th, the national day of Switzerland, with an exquisite farmer buffet in the mountains. A public bus carried us to the Grenchenberg, 1300m above see level, where a delicious breakfast was waiting for us. We enjoyed it very much. Afterwards we walked to a fireplace. Here we spent our time while listening to music, playing volleyball and having a good time together, before we barbecued our own sausage on the self-made fire.
In the evening we spent some hours on different look-out-points on the top of the mountain to have a beautiful view over the midlands and, as it got dark, to enjoy the fireworks and altitude fires all around of us. Before we went back to our camp, a member of the LC Grenchen specially made a firework for us. Tired and being quite a bit cold, we were happy to be in the camp at Midnight. |
