When the Lions Clubs International commemorated 100 years of service with their Centennial celebration, the MD 102 Switzerland-Liechtenstein founded a cooperation with the Swiss Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired. This resulted in an active collaboration and embodies just one example of how close a cooperation can become if the partners agree on their goals.

Within the framework of the collaboration with the Swiss Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired, almost 200 clubs throughout Switzerland participated in the National Lions Day 2017. Many of them dedicated their time to the blind and visually impaired.
