More than 10,000 people in Switzerland are committed to the worthy cause and are members of a Lions Club. The highest body for the Lions in Switzerland and Liechtenstein is the Council of Governors. It is led by the Council Chairperson, who chairs the committee for one year from 1 July to 30 June of the following year. The Council of Governors represents the four districts: West, Centro, East, and LEO. The multi-district officers work closely with their district-level partners. For the Lions Year 2017/18, Ursina Boulgaris is Council Chairperson of the Multi-District 102 Switzerland-Liechtenstein.
Welcoming address Council Chairperson 2017/18 Ursina Boulgaris
This Lions year is coming to an end. Among our notable achievements are the successful European Forum and the Centennial Year. A further goal this year was also to make our communication more modern and dynamic. This includes our website. It will be launched just in time for the National Convention in Zug. Our new website contains information for Lions and non-Lions by shedding new light on our organization and projects. Today, I would like to thank all those who have supported our Lions projects. Innumerable people have adhered to our motto: we serve. Thank you!
